The Eucharist in Modern Philosophy is one of the last books written by the renowned Jesuit philosopher Xavier Tilliette (1921-2018), and the first to be translated into English. Este libro presenta los resultados de una investigacion que caracterizo las concepciones de ciencia presentes en estudiantes de grado once de la Institucion Educativa Departamental (IED) Republica de Francia, en San Francisco de Sales, Cundinamarca, Colombia, determinando si estas eran las mas deseables para el siglo XXI, luego se busco complejizar estas concepciones por medio de un diseno curricular (Unidad Didactica) centrado en el Enfoque CTSA y abordando el concepto estructurante de cambio quimico; para ello, se planteo un marco metodologico constructivista cualitativo que describio y oriento el fenomenos educativos. Al desarrollar la investigacion, se realizo un estudio de caso en el cual se determinaron las caracteristicas de un diseno curricular que permitiera complejizar las concepciones de ciencia y el conocimiento escolar del grupo de estudiantes participantes de la investigacion. Finalmente, luego de proponer una trama Historico-Epistemologica y la Unidad Didactica, se realizo un pilotaje, determinando algunas caracteristicas del diseno curricular para lograr el objetivo propuesto."
